Commit To Your Assignment – David Ibiyeomie

Commit To Your Assignment –

When you are committed to your course, you are bound to be distinguished. When your assignment becomes a task to you, all your senses will come alive.

Your assignment requires total focus. Many persons are waiting for things to happen on their own. When you are truly committed to your assignment, you will become creative. When you are creative, you become productive, which guarantees success.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 (KJV) Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…

Do not give a casual approach to your assignment. You must be committed to your work at hand; that is the way to distinction. Responsibility is the price for greatness. Never pursue what you are not committed to. Prayer is no substitute to commitment. If you are a trader, be committed to selling. If you are a student, be committed to your studies. As a business man, you should be committed to your business. Whatever you are doing, be committed to it.

Anyone uncomfortable with your assignment is not qualified to be close to you. Anybody who does not respect your assignment should be far from you, else, your assignment will suffer a decline.

There is nothing extraordinary on its own; it is man’s input with commitment that makes it so. Everybody wants to be a star but nobody can become a star without a scar. Without commitment to your assignment, your stardom will never be a reality. It is commitment to your assignments that makes you a star. Whatever you do, be committed to it and you will lead others in your field. Do not go to work any time you like and close whenever you like; be principled and committed to your assignment. Committed people are tied to their assignments. If you do what others are doing, then you will be confined to where they are. If you want to beat them, then you have to go extra mile. Nothing can change without your input so sit up!

To improve in your assignment, learn from the best, not from average people. The world is full of lazy people; if you are committed, you will beat them. Do not use religion to cover up; be committed! Many are committed to God, but not to their assignment. So, they come to church very well, serve God very well but end up as failures; thus making their Christianity look like mockery. This is because the commitment is lopsided. How can you use your work time in the office to read Bible? Are you employed to read Bible? You should have read your Bible at home. Please be serious with your assignment.

Joseph worked for king Pharaoh yet he was committed to his work. Joseph knew when to work and when to carry out his religious activity. I do not play with my assignment. When I want to preach, one would think I want to carry out a research with a tertiary institution. You find different books around me on the subject. When I am working, I don’t play because it is my assignment. Nobody will take you seriously if you do not take your assignment seriously.

You must take decision and action not to play with your assignment. Without a price of commitment, there can be no prize of distinction. Receive Grace to be committed to your assignment from today in Jesus Name. Amen!

God bless you.

Story of how LESTER SUMRALL met with HOWARD CARTER

LESTER Sumrall was a 20th century giant of faith, and worldwide missionary statesman, who demonstrated the power of the gospel in his pastoral and evangelical ministry. He also had a personal relationship with Smith Wigglesworth. And travelled widely with Howard Carter. This, culled from Dr. Sumrall's 'Pioneers of Faith', is the story of how he met Mr. Carter. It was 1932. Brother Lester was 19, and brother Howard was 41: I was sitting in a little church in Tennessee looking at the young man who was leading the music. Suddenly, the scene before me vanished, and I saw thousands of Japanese, Chinese, Lndians, Malaysians, Indonesians, Indians, Africans, Latin Americans, Europeans and people from the ocean islands on one road going one direction ...Trembling and crying, I asked, "What shall I do?" God said, "You have to go to these people." I said, "I don't like those people. I have never seen a Japanese person in my life. I don't know tho...

ACTIVATING THE FIRE FOR THE RACE (1) ~ Joshua Talena

Monday 25 February 2019 ACTIVATING THE FIRE FOR THE RACE (1)  (JEREMIAH 20:9) “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing and I could not stay. Child of God for you to run through this year, the very race which the Lord has set before you and win, you need the fire that will keep you consistent in what you are doing. Where there is no fire, men lack the passion to be consistent in what they do, and without consistency vision will be crippled and mission will be aborted in life. Even your services to God become burdensome to you where the fire is lacking.  As you go through this year, ensure you carry enough fuel for the race. Fire is divine stamina or fuel given to a man for conquest and accomplishment of destiny mandate. As you run through this year I want you to know you are like a double exhaust car, don’t carry only fire ...
