Every
living human has the will power to seek the truth, because God has encoded man
with a DNA to choose between life and death (Deuteronomy 30:15). The truth is
only revealed to those who seek, and not those who wait for the truth to seek
them out. The responsibility of seeking is totally yours, and not the
obligation of your pastor, church elders or anyone else, but you. The inability
to seek the truth, leads to a substitution of lies for the truth, and this
accounts for the great deception manifesting itself in the body of Christ
nowadays. The Holy Bible in the book of John 8:32, reveals to us that, the
knowledge of the truth leads to freedom, which also implies that, an absence of
the truth leads to captivity and bondage.
In
a world of growing demands and questions, only those who seek the truth would
find the desired results and answers. Jesus Christ while confronted with a
question asked by the Pharisees in the book of Mathew 19:3 replied by asking a
salient question, “Have ye not read?” (Mathew 19:4). The search for the truth lays
in our commitment in reading to acquire knowledge that would act as a pointer
to the truth’s personality. The truth is embedded in the word, and the word is
God (John 1:1), and everyone who studies the word, would show thyself approved
unto God. This means that your approval status unto God is determinant by the
word, and an absence of it leads to a decline in approval. The identification
of the word is a discovery of the truth which sets us free from the power of
sin and all the deception orchestrated by the devil and his agents. Our
vulnerability or resistance to the attacks and antics of the devil is dependent
on the level of truth in us, because our freedom is only derived from the
truth.
The
message and ministry of Jesus Christ was mainly focused on harvesting souls
for the Kingdom of His Father, and for this cause, the word became flesh and
dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14). The word (Jesus Christ) is hidden
in the Holy Bible, and for you to find Him, you would need to diligently search
the scriptures, because in searching, you seek to find the truth, and your
discovery of the truth will lead to the liberation of your soul.
Moreover,
Jesus Christ declared saying “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). The word (Jesus Christ) is
available for you today, seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him
while He is near (Isaiah 55:6). Jesus Christ is standing at the door, why don’t
you let Him in, that you may be fed with the bread of life and be satisfied for
eternity.
God
bless you.
