Featured: Menkiti Stephen shares his thought on the double standard of worship currently being practiced by many Christians

Menkiti Stephen writes this interesting piece, as he condemns the double standard of worship being practiced by many Christians, ranging from the idolization of vessels of God, which most times affects the Psyche of many believers in thinking that their blessings are attached to these vessels instead of God Almighty. He also made commentaries on the judgemental pattern of Christianity being practiced in modern times, which sees us as a divided entity by reason of our denominational affiliation instead of one body in Christ Jesus.

MENKITI STEPHEN WRITES:

I know many of us will condemn these people because most of you have not realized that you are even in a worse bondage than these ones. Until people learn that serving God and idolizing a pastor is a double-standard pattern of worshiping and belief. Don't get me wrong, Love your pastor, but know the limit where you start glorifying your pastors instead of glorifying God. Pastors are vessels that should be prayed for. I look around and i see Men who walk around feeling like God Themselves. People of nowadays don't even help matters. You celebrate These men and appeal to their mortal sense of honor by-so-doing, making them feel it is right to take the glory. 

Judgmental pattern of Christianity is prevalent today. I am an anglican, you are a catholic, He is a redeemed member, she is dunamis, Uncle is King's assembly, aunty is cherubim, wife is Lord's chosen and your cousins are not "Lord's Chosen". Your children in school are in deeper life and your Land-Lord is a mountain of fire member. How do you explain to me that Men are not trying to make a statement with invitations to their churches? " Come to 'My" church and experience God"... Ignorant of how omnipresent and ubiquitous The Almighty God is. The I am that I am! The Lion of the tribe of Judah! The Ancient of Days. I am laughing because people now think that they need to always align with a particular man to be in a personal relationship with God. My God is the same today, yesterday and forever. The scriptures are there for you to meditate upon and your burning desire for God shouldn't be tied to a man's interpretation of who God is. The knowledge of God is a mystery of revelation. Let The Holy spirit interpret the bible for you. This is why there is so much misleading today in churches. Money is becoming the order of the day. Everybody is making it look normal that God is interested in the amount of offering you give in church? When you keep neglecting the poor neighbors and servants in your houses and your neighborhood. 

Mathew 25: 34- 45 says and I quote:

34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 

36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 

43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me".

God is within you when you dwell in God! John 15 Vs 4-6 says "Dwell in me (First) and i will dwell in you"... You don't dwell in a pastor and expect God to dwell in you!... God is accessible. He is not like man who you have to fill a form before his bodyguards and P.A may or may not decide to allow you see him. Don't Confuse it. So Far I have my Bible, My Love for my creator is unquestionable. I pray everyday that the holy spirit keeps interpreting the word of God for me. The interpretation of man sometimes can be misleading when you lack knowledge. I am not against any church. I am simply saying, Please read your bibles as often as possible and always pray. 

The bible says that in the last days, Many shall come in my name. The same bible also says that my people perish just because of lack of knowledge. My People, read the bible and Love God and not man. Thanks for reading.
