Feautured: Mike Bamiloye shares his testimony on how God surprised him on his birthday

Mike Bamiloye who is a well known drama evangelist, and also the founder of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries International, shares his testimony on his Facebook page, on how he was surprised by God on his birthday.

This testimony is another affirmation that the ways of God are indeed not our ways.

Mike Bamiloye writes:

"GOD SURPRISED ME ON MY BIRTHDAY

I wish to share this testimony, believing it would bles people out there.

I recently celebrated my 58th Birthday, and I was blessed by the several greetings and messages from lot of people from various places. Messages of Encouragement, Specially Recorded Songs, Poems, Spoken Words, E-Cakes, etc came from various people and these gladdens my heart. 

Very early in the morning of that day, at around 2.30am after posting the Morning Devotionals, my Spirit was down with many burdens and needs. And I began to pray. My main prayers was for fresh directions and for various programs and projects and mission trips ahead , for supplies and provisions for all these. 

After these, I began to pray seriously that the Lord would give me a BIRTHDAY PRESENT. I told God I need a Special Birthday Present. I told Him I needed a Special Financial Provision for my Birthday. 

After All the prayers my spirit remained calm. Then, I heard God said into my Spirit, "NO. DO NOT ASK FOR SPECIAL FINANCIAL PROVISIONS AS BIRTHDAY GIFT. ASK FOR SOMETHING SPIRITUAL. ASK FOR SOMETHING THAT WOULD IMPACT YOUR MINISTERIAL LIFE AND MINISTRY. 

It was a gentle correction. I agreed reluctantly. I changed my prayer points. Then, I noticed everything remained quiet in our home. On my Birthday, everything shut down in our home. Several phone calls came, but I wasn't led to pick any call. It was like a Retreat. No one came visiting. No one brought any gift. No visiting of friends, no going out for celebration. My heart was waiting for what the Lord would send someone to come and give me, or whatever spiritual thing the Lord would send to me, as He had said I should ask for Spiritual thing that would impact my ministry and life.   

After eating some things at mid-day, I went to lie down and rest, still waiting and praying that the Lord would send me the Special gift He said I should ask for.  I woke up by 5pm and my wife told me SOMEONE came and brought a parcel. And she gave me the parcel and IT WAS A BIG 440-PAGE-BOOK ON BILLY GRAHAM. 

The moment I got hold of the BOOK,  I knew in my Spirit this was what the Lord had wanted to give This was what I have been WAITNG for. This was the Spiritual thing the Lord told me to wait for. A BOOK about a Spiritual Giant. I opened the Book immediately and began to read, right from Introduction to the Foreword. I read the first 20  pages on my seat. I was lifted up in my spirit. I got some inspirations and serious spiritual motivations. 

THE LORD, MY FATHER, KNEW WHAT I NEEDED ON MY BIRTHDAY. I WANTED PHYSICAL GIFTS. I WANTED FINANCIAL GIFTS. BUT HE KNEW I NEEDED SOMETHING SPIRITUAL FOR MY LIFE AND MY MINISTRY.

HERE IS THE LESSON, THEREFORE:
YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU WANTED, 
BUT FATHER ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU NEEDED".

Papa David Ibiyeomie through his foundation (DIF) renovates the house of Mama Priscilla Agwu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

Papa David Ibiyeomie through his foundation (DIF) renovates the house of Mama Priscilla Agwu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The newly renovated and furnished house was handed over to her on Friday 5th of April 2019.  David Ibiyeomie presently takes care of countless number of aged people with comfortable accommodation, monthly upkeep and medical assistance. This is outside the Home For the Elderly built, furnished by the Church and is also taking care of some aged people. While handing over this house to Mama Agwu, Her family, friends and neighbors all came together to celebrate with her and could not hide their joy and shock at what the Lord has done for their mother through Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
