There will never be true ecumenism until Christianity as a whole becomes threatened forcibly by the anti-Christ

Until we come under an attack that will threaten our collective survival as a body, we won't be truly united

I was born a Catholic
Baptised as one
Indoctrinated as one

I know the not beautiful things about the church
I also know the beautiful things about her

I'm part of interdenominational fellowships and denominational ones
They are wonderful
Yet, they have their not so beautiful part

Recently, I've found myself using the bible to make my Catholic root realise that the Pentecostals are NOT the problem
I've found myself telling people I care about that we are all one body in Christ
Paul planteth, Apollo watereth, all for the edification of the body of Christ
But hey, they didn't buy it
And I'm like, "are these not the proponent of ecumenism?"

I've been in a Catholic Church where the priest said those who attend events at other churches will be sanctioned

I've seen Catholics on social media get excited  whenever a Pentecostal pastor is being ridiculed on these street
You look and sound ridiculous, fam
Does it make Christ, the author and finisher of our faith happy?

If you have time to meditate, I think you should meditate on your Christian-walk  if you have any

For the Pentecostals, is it not possible you focus on the Kingdom business than always getting a high making a ridicule of Catholics and orthodox churches?

I've seen and heard pastors I love and respect say very uncharitable things about the Catholic Church.
You are talking in the flesh when you make Catholics the point of your attack
They are not the enemy confronting you
Concern yourselves with what is important to God

When Pentecostals hear of any scandal in the Catholic Church, they are excited

Are you all not tired?

We have an ecumenical centre in Abuja that took us how many years to build simply because we are fighting over who will be the bishop

Sometimes, before we make any subtle attack on each other, can we pause and ask, "What will Jesus do?"
"Is it noble?"
"Is this necessary?"

Brethren, my goal is heaven
I don't want to miss heaven at allllllll
And when I get there, there will be no Catholics, no Anglican, no Redemptionists, no Deeper lifer, no Winners, no Latter house, no House on the Rock ,etc members there

There, we will have only children of God
Those whose names are in the book of life
Those who have been born and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
Whose garments are washed

And that is the goal

The Bible is our manual
Let's keep doing a good work for the kingdom of God
Souls are perishing
But we are busy getting distracted

Brethren, the enemy is not sleeping.
