THE LOVE OF GOD [Pt 2 ] -Min. Awe Hilary

The law never made anything or anyone perfect.

Hebrews 7:19 [NLT]:

For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

This is because sin which ruled in the flesh [by reason of the Adamic nature] took occasion of the law to reveal sin to men through the flesh, hence men never knew what sin was except through the law.

Romans 7:7 [NLT]:

Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.”

The law was punitive [Judgement], revealing the sins of men to them through the weakness of the flesh, hence righteousness could not be attained through the law.

Moreover, Abraham the patriarch and his offsprings received the promise, and he also received the imputation of righteousness not by the law or in its obedience, but through faith in God.

Romans 4:13 [NLT]:

Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith

Furthermore, prophet Noah was also a recipient of the gift of righteousness through faith in God, by believing and obeying God to the letter concerning things which were to come, which eyes has never seen before.

Hebrews 11:7 [NLT]:

It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.

The love of God came not to reveal sin through the law, but to unveil the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ, that all who believe will receive that same righteousness which could not be obtained through the law but by grace alone.

..... To be continued.

PRAY AGAINST AN IMMINENT TERRORIST ATTACK IN GERMANY - PROPHET TB JOSHUA

PRAY AGAINST AN IMMINENT TERRORIST ATTACK IN GERMANY - PROPHET TB JOSHUA “Good morning, my viewers all over the world. I want you to join me in praying against an imminent terrorist attack in the nation of Germany, particularly Thursday and throughout this week. I am saying this because I have seen it three to four times in a vision.  I was supposed to mention this during the last Sunday Service, but I thought it was something I could pray for on my own. However, the vision continues repeating. The Government and people of Germany should be vigilant and guard against this. It is very imminent. We are on our knees praying for the nation and people of Germany."

ACTIVATING THE FIRE FOR THE RACE (1) ~ Joshua Talena

Monday 25 February 2019 ACTIVATING THE FIRE FOR THE RACE (1)  (JEREMIAH 20:9) “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing and I could not stay. Child of God for you to run through this year, the very race which the Lord has set before you and win, you need the fire that will keep you consistent in what you are doing. Where there is no fire, men lack the passion to be consistent in what they do, and without consistency vision will be crippled and mission will be aborted in life. Even your services to God become burdensome to you where the fire is lacking.  As you go through this year, ensure you carry enough fuel for the race. Fire is divine stamina or fuel given to a man for conquest and accomplishment of destiny mandate. As you run through this year I want you to know you are like a double exhaust car, don’t carry only fire ...

THE BATTLE FOR ETERNITY

Life is a battle ground, and we are all soldiers on the field. It presents no option for exceptions, as every living soul is compelled to face the battle by reason of birth into this world. The bible in the book of Mathew 11:12 makes us to understand that, from the days of John the Baptist until now that the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. This is the battle for eternity which is no respecter of social class, educational background, nationality, gender, as all have been condemned to this battle by reason of the fall of man as recorded in the book of Genesis 3:1-24. This war unlike other conventional battles, have proven to be more dangerous because it is a war for the souls of men. The battlefield is filled with ravaging, fierce and sadistic enemies with unconventional weaponry with the sole resolve of bringing the souls of men to eternal ruin and damnation. The greatest asset of a man is not his fancy car, mansion or several ch...
