The sinner who was acquitted of his or her sin, has no more charge against him or her, because the law can no longer be applied to him or her based on the fact that he or she has obtained righteousness by grace through Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:33
[33]Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
The one who attempts to condemn the acquitted, has to deal with Jesus Christ Himself, Who has made the acquitted right with God, Who [Jesus Christ] also makes continual intercession [ an advocate] for the acquitted.
Romans 8:34
[34]Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
The justified, who was once a sinner and a captive of the law through the flesh, operated below the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
[23]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Furthermore, after being freely justified by God through Jesus Christ, the acquitted was taken from the position where he or she fell short of God's glory, to a new status where he or she measures up with God's glory.
2 Corinthians 3:18
[18]But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
This is because the acquitted now functions in thesame image and nature of God through Jesus Christ, which is a restoration of the old order before the fall of the first Adam.
However, the believer in Jesus Christ who have been glorified, is no longer struggling to attain God's glory, but has become engulfed with the glory of God which gives him or her full access of sonship and all accompanying privileges as a heir to the kingdom of God.
Romans 8:17
[17]and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. From Suffering to Glory.
Romans 8:18
[18]For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:19
[19]For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT GLORIFICATION:
1. The glorified believer has same nature with God.
2. The glorified believer seats in a position of authority in God through Jesus Christ.
3. The glorified believer is at peace with God.
4. The glorified believer is a son or daughter who dwells in the presence of the Father.
5. God is pleased with the glorified believer.
God has glorified you by reveling His image in you, Who is Jesus Christ, that through Him, you are no longer a slave to sin, but a son or daughter of God who cries Abba Father.
