 HEAVEN & THE KINGDOM OF GOD [Pt 3]

..... Discovering Heaven.

In the second part of this series, I gave a vivid description of the first heaven and it's environment, which is natural to the human eye and senses, which avails us the opportunity to view, analyze, and appreciate God's creation.

More also, it is important to note that not all things that were created by God can be accessed by the physical eyes and senses, because there are aspects of God's creation that is hidden from the natural eyes, hence they can only be accessed in the spirit - Which can be by the Spirit of God, or from the devil.

Colossians 1:16

[16]For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

This is one of the affirmations that God is the creator of all things, and nothing exist without His activity, be it visible or invisible. In this part of the series, I would be giving a description of what many describe as the second heaven.

The term second heaven, had no mentions in the Holy Scriptures, but it's description is born out of Paul the Apostles revelation, where he  made a description of his spiritual encounters, yet not boasting in himself, about a man who was caught into the third heavens, where it was not lawful to utter what was heard.

2 Corinthians 12:2

[2]I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven.

2 Corinthians 12:4-5

[4]how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

[5]Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities.

Paul the Apostles revelation exposes the existence of an intermediary realm between the third heaven, and the firmament above us which is visible to the human eyes and senses. In the book of Daniels, an angel who was sent by God to deliver the answers to Daniel's prayer was witheld for 21 days by the prince of Persia.  The description of this principality as a prince, is representative of spiritual authority, as a ruler who influenced the territory of Persia, where Daniel was resident.

Furthermore, in the book of Ephesians, Paul the  Apostle re- emphasizes the presence of spiritual activity in heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:12

[12]For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. There are principalities and powers over nations, who fashion and propagate satanic Agendas.

2. Authority has been given to believers to through Jesus Christ, to disrupt the activities of these rulers of darkness, through prayers and intercession for the nations of the world.

3. Answers to prayers can be delayed, not because they haven't been answered, but because of opposition in the heavenlies, hence the believer must exercise his or her positional authority in Christ to displace these satanic activities that cause delays.

4. Persistence in the place of prayers, is a necessary tool to exert dominance and control over territories. The more consistent we become in the plprayers prayer, we become rulers over our territories, hence weakening the activities of these satanic rulers in the heavenlies.
