SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE: WHICH TYPE OF CHRISTIAN ARE YOU?

Today being Sunday, I was lead to attend God's Glory Restoration Prophetic Ministry at Gwarimpa in Abuja, Nigeria. The General Overseer of the Church, Prophet Mathew Gbolagade Abiola ministered to the church on a message he titled "WHICH TYPE OF CHRISTIAN ARE YOU?"

He talked about the first category of Christians, which he called the Nominal Christian, and also outlined their attributes which are stated below as follows:

1. A person who have not responded to Jesus Christ but calls himself/herself a Christian.

2. A person who is a Christian for material benefits.

3. Persons who want to use the church to make profits.

4. Bench warmers in church.

5. Christians who take the the things of God with levity.

6. They are classified as the multitude. Mathew 7:21-23, Ezekiel 33:31-32, Isaiah 29:13

7. They claim to believe in Christ but yet their characters are not changed.

8. They believe that God exist, but they have not received the Holy Spirit in their hearts.

9. They don't read their Bibles and hence considered as Biblical Illiterates.

10. They live in sin daily, because their conscience is dead.

Moreover, he also talked about the ways to erase our names from the register of Nominal Christianity, and these are outlined below:

1. Hate sin

2. Be conscious of Heaven.

3.Pray at all times.

4. Reading the Bible regularly and meditating on the word of God.

5. Constant fellowship with the brethren.

However, I would also love to know the sermons or messages taught by your priest or pastor today, and also outlining lessons learnt for the benefit of touching a soul and advancing the kingdom of God.

Papa David Ibiyeomie through his foundation (DIF) renovates the house of Mama Priscilla Agwu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The newly renovated and furnished house was handed over to her on Friday 5th of April 2019. David Ibiyeomie presently takes care of countless number of aged people with comfortable accommodation, monthly upkeep and medical assistance. This is outside the Home For the Elderly built, furnished by the Church and is also taking care of some aged people. While handing over this house to Mama Agwu, Her family, friends and neighbors all came together to celebrate with her and could not hide their joy and shock at what the Lord has done for their mother through Pastor David Ibiyeomie. THE OLD CONVENANT IS A SHADOW OF THE NEW CONVENANT [pt 4] - Min. Awe Hilary

It is an interesting fact to know that 99.99% of most religions practiced today are imitations of either the Mosaic law as given to the Jews by God or idolatry as invented by men through the interface of spiritual entities as a way of worship. Idol worship and the Mosaic law are the oldest well known religious institutions that have existed on the earth. The Mosaic law which is the Old Convenant is a shadow of the New Convenant which could not come into effect as long as the law was still in place.
