WE ALL SHOUT HALLELUJAH

There is a wise saying which says "dont judge a book by its cover". Physical appearances can be deceptive, thus producing a false image or representation of what is being described. Physical appearances are for the eyes of men, but the eyes of God are concentrated on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7)

For instance, in the Church:

The thief shouts hallelujah,

The murderer shouts hallelujah,

The fornicator shouts hallelujah,

The adulterer shouts hallelujah,

The unforgiven shouts hallelujah,

The cultist shouts hallelujah,

The witch shouts hallelujah,

The cheater shouts hallelujah,

.....The list goes on, for indeed these set of people all shout hallelujah in the presence of God, thus giving themselves a religious outlook amongst men, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:5-7).

WHAT DOES NOT MAKE US DIFFERENT:

1.The name of our denominations

2.How beautiful and gigantic our Cathedrals are

3.The name of our pastors and how successful they are in ministry

4.Our positions in Church

5.Our physical presentations in Church

6.How big our tithes are

7.How big our offerings are

.....In total, playing the religious card will only make you righteous in your own eyes and amongst men, but dirty before God (Proverbs 30:12).

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT:

1. Willingly accepting that we have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory (Romans 3:23-24).

2. Confessing our sins before God with a sincere heart (1 John 1:9).

3. Pleading with Jesus Christ to cleanse us from our sins and sanctifying us with His blood (1 John 1:7-9).

4. Putting away all forms of ungodliness (Titus 2:11-12).

5. Reading and applying the Holy Bible to our daily living (2 Timothy 3:16).

...In total, living as Jesus Christ lived, for it was for that reason the disciples where first called Christians in Antioch (Acts 11:26).

PRAYER POINT:

1. God have mercy on me for every known and unknown sin that I have committed in Jesus name.

2. God separate me from the crowd and give me the grace to live by your word daily in Jesus name.

God desires true repentance and obedience from us, and if truely we are His children, we must live our lives according to His word. Living our lives in obedience to  His word is the only sure way we can effectively present ourselves blameless before Him, while radiating His glory to the world.

The Messenger wishes you a blessed day in God's presence in Jesus name, amen.

Story of how LESTER SUMRALL met with HOWARD CARTER

LESTER Sumrall was a 20th century giant of faith, and worldwide missionary statesman, who demonstrated the power of the gospel in his pastoral and evangelical ministry. He also had a personal relationship with Smith Wigglesworth. And travelled widely with Howard Carter. This, culled from Dr. Sumrall's 'Pioneers of Faith', is the story of how he met Mr. Carter. It was 1932. Brother Lester was 19, and brother Howard was 41: I was sitting in a little church in Tennessee looking at the young man who was leading the music. Suddenly, the scene before me vanished, and I saw thousands of Japanese, Chinese, Lndians, Malaysians, Indonesians, Indians, Africans, Latin Americans, Europeans and people from the ocean islands on one road going one direction ...Trembling and crying, I asked, "What shall I do?" God said, "You have to go to these people." I said, "I don't like those people. I have never seen a Japanese person in my life. I don't know tho...

THE OLD CONVENANT IS A SHADOW OF THE NEW CONVENANT [pt 4] - Min. Awe Hilary

It is an interesting fact to know that 99.99% of most religions practiced today are imitations of either the Mosaic law as given to the Jews by God or idolatry as invented by men through the interface of spiritual entities as a way of worship. Idol worship and the Mosaic law are the oldest well known religious institutions that have existed on the earth. The Mosaic law which is the Old Convenant is a shadow of the New Convenant which could not come into effect as long as the law was still in place. Hebrews 9:8 [AMP]: By this the Holy Spirit signifies that the way into the Holy Place [the true Holy of Holies and the presence of God] has not yet been disclosed as long as the first or outer tabernacle is still standing [that is, as long as the Levitical system of worship remains a recognized institution]. More also, if the Old Convenant is a shadow of the New Convenant, then it signifies that they both have One Spirit [The Spirit of God], same pattern with different realities but one purp...
