The Holy Bible tells us that all power belongs to God. He is the author of power, and He gives it to whoever He chooses. The reception of power from God by an individual, should be seen as a privilege and avenue to service the interests of God by representing Him in all ramications, but unfortunately many Christians who have found themselves in the position of power have abdicated their responsibilities in representing Christ and defending His people.
Dr Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, lashes out on people who take their political position as more important than their spiritual position, saying that they will be judged when they arrive eternity.

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre had more than just a few words for Christians in Government who have become puppets in the hands of puppeteers in a bid to be Politically Correct. In his words,

Commitment to the defence of the cause of God in the earth means that you are not going to watch the kingdom of God confronted and molested on the earth and do nothing.
It is an absolute abomination for the cause of God to be confronted and you are quiet.

We have a nation full of compromising people. You step into a position and you don’t know where you are coming from anymore. Your people are suffering and you are standing there.

Flowing from the Call to Contend for the soul of the nation raised by Bishop Oyedepo, Dr. Enenche as well as Pastor David Ibiyeomie also announced a 7 day fasting and Prayer for Nigeria in their respective ministries. The spiritual exercise starts on Monday 23 July and will run till Sunday 29 July.
