HOW TO PREACH THE GOSPEL: The 'Blessing' Outreach

If you are among those who would go on outreach and not know what to say, please read what Papa taught us recently (NB: some parts are paraphrased)

"Understand the content of the Gospel; understand the good news message of the gospel. No one bears good news and frown...When you go out there, tell them, with a smile, 'Jesus loves you; He sent me to tell you that you can live a struggle-free life. He sent me to tell you you can live a sickness-free life...' Understand that you are on a BLESSING MISSION. Tell them, 'Jesus sent me to bless you.' Don't wait for them to answer, follow up with, 'Now you are blessed in the name of Jesus. You shall not see evil again. No road block for your destiny again....' You will be hearing AMEN, AMEN. And then end with this: 'You see, the only way to keep this blessing over your life is to keep serving Him. Next Sunday is our [business breakthrough Banquet] service. Won't you join us, I know you will. You will come with a point of contact for your business, even if it's your complimentary card, registration papers, come with them and hand them over to God by the word of the prophet...you will see a turnaround in your business...'
...Gospel means good tidings. Good news. 'You will go to hell' is not good news. The gospel of condemnation is taking people nowhere. How can you tell somebody who's already in hell that he will go to hell? Go forth with the fullness of the blessings of the gospel. Jesus came to bless. I have been doing it like this for years now, and it has always worked.
As of last Sunday (September 3, 2017), my team and I had brought 12,495 souls to God and 8,000 plus are fully established in this commission. This thing is working! --- Bishop David Oyedepo, September 7, 2017
