TURN YOUR SCARS INTO STARS - TB Joshua

TURN YOUR SCARS INTO STARS!!!

If we rely on the strength that comes from Jesus Christ, He will not allow the enemy of our soul to give us more than we can take. The Bible tells us no temptation has seized you except what is common to man - and God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear but when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it (1 Corinthians 10:13).

This means you can be forgiven and start again. When we make bad decisions, we feel the impact. Many give up and divorce, run away, become bitter or quit on life. I know of executives, pastors and leaders who have stopped the pursuit of their life goals and basically quit trying – or worse. I want to encourage you - don’t let your bad experiences wipe you out. Turn your scars into stars! All of us have made decisions we regret and all of us can be forgiven and start over. Our Creator will forgive us, and He will show us what to do next. If we go on our knees and confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive us.

The Scriptures tell us that Christians can make bad mistakes too. The difference is that they already have a relationship with God and should understand that they can immediately go to God about their behaviour. He will help us get back on our feet, forgive us and help us not make the same decision again.

- T.B. Joshua

Story of how LESTER SUMRALL met with HOWARD CARTER

LESTER Sumrall was a 20th century giant of faith, and worldwide missionary statesman, who demonstrated the power of the gospel in his pastoral and evangelical ministry. He also had a personal relationship with Smith Wigglesworth. And travelled widely with Howard Carter. This, culled from Dr. Sumrall's 'Pioneers of Faith', is the story of how he met Mr. Carter. It was 1932. Brother Lester was 19, and brother Howard was 41: I was sitting in a little church in Tennessee looking at the young man who was leading the music. Suddenly, the scene before me vanished, and I saw thousands of Japanese, Chinese, Lndians, Malaysians, Indonesians, Indians, Africans, Latin Americans, Europeans and people from the ocean islands on one road going one direction ...Trembling and crying, I asked, "What shall I do?" God said, "You have to go to these people." I said, "I don't like those people. I have never seen a Japanese person in my life. I don't know tho...

THE OLD CONVENANT IS A SHADOW OF THE NEW CONVENANT [pt 4] - Min. Awe Hilary

It is an interesting fact to know that 99.99% of most religions practiced today are imitations of either the Mosaic law as given to the Jews by God or idolatry as invented by men through the interface of spiritual entities as a way of worship. Idol worship and the Mosaic law are the oldest well known religious institutions that have existed on the earth. The Mosaic law which is the Old Convenant is a shadow of the New Convenant which could not come into effect as long as the law was still in place. Hebrews 9:8 [AMP]: By this the Holy Spirit signifies that the way into the Holy Place [the true Holy of Holies and the presence of God] has not yet been disclosed as long as the first or outer tabernacle is still standing [that is, as long as the Levitical system of worship remains a recognized institution]. More also, if the Old Convenant is a shadow of the New Convenant, then it signifies that they both have One Spirit [The Spirit of God], same pattern with different realities but one purp...
