It is no longer news that certain believers are already becoming apostates through the consistent intake of teachings which deliberately misinterpret scriptures in essence and application.
This series will avail itself as a material to refute such claims with the aim of providing biblical insights that will bring to perspective and context the true sayings of the Holy Bible, inorder to prevent the loss of a generation to the wiles and caprices of the devil.
The first time I heard that Jesus Christ was created was from an unbeliever, and I never knew that a supposed believer will make such an incorrect statement on a Facebook post which goes as such;
"God created only two people since the world began, the first and second Adams.
You were born into sin (state, not act) because the first Adam was corrupted. But through the Gospel you are now born into righteousness (state, not act) because Jesus Christ is blameless.
I hope this settles the crisis in your head...🤔
Glory to Jesus 🙌🙌🙌
Teaching good 👍"
First of all, it is important to note that the Second Adam as referred to as in the Holy Bible is Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:45 (NLT)
The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit.
Jesus Christ who existed as THE WORD from the beginning was not created, but existed as God in the formation of the Deity of the Godhead.
John 1:1
[1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
However, for God to save mankind by providing a permanent atonement for the sins of man, not in the order of the law which was just a temporary cover of sins through the blood of animals, God had to come in the flesh, in the person of the Word, who was given a native name of men by an angel to Mary His mother, to be called Jesus Christ.
Luke 1:30-31
[30]Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
[31]And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.
The reason for His miraculous birth as many would put it is because;
1. You cannot bring forth a Spirit Being Who was already in existence through copulation. The implication of this statement is that Jesus Christ in actual sense was older than Mary His earthly mother, who was just a vessel or Joseph His earthly father who had no role to play in His conception.
In one occasion, Jesus Christ asked the Pharisees whose Son is He? And the pharisees gave a response by saying He was the Son of David. In His response, Jesus Christ answered by making the following statements;
Matthew 22:43-45
[43]He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:
[44]‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool” ’?
[45]If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?”
2. Jesus Christ is the representation of the Godhead in bodily form (Collosians 2:9). The implication of this statement is that, God - The Father, and The Holy Spirit were all present in Him, and this gives credence to the following sayings as true;
John 14:11
[11]Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
John 10:30
[30]I and My Father are one.
The Holy Scriptures clearly states that Jesus Christ existed before the creation of mankind as the Word who is a member of the Deity of the Godhead, and in no time did a human alter His composition as God. It is however theologically incorrect to state that Jesus Christ was created by God.
