HEAVEN & THE KINGDOM OF GOD [Pt 1] - Awe Hilary 

INTRODUCTION:

Few years ago, I watched a Tv Series where a particular tribe of warriors and sea raiders believed that if they died, their personality will be translated to a named placed, which is synonymous to Heaven. They so much believed in it, that they prayed to go there, and their missions on the sea was backed up with faith, in an expectation that whatever happened during their missions, they would end up in their heaven.

I have also taken a look at some religious perspectives, and it is interesting to note that there is always a named place where all religious faithfuls believe that they will end up eventually. The names differ from place to place, and from one religious ideology to the other, hence establishing the fact of a widely but not totally accepted belief of a supernatural abode where most humans intend to end up.

Inorder to understand the realities of Heaven, we would be looking at the following;

1. Heaven as a physical location which is multilayered.

2. Heaven as the seat of God's government and Kingdom.

3. The citizenship of God's Kingdom and it's passport (qualification).

4. The nature of God's Kingdom.

5. The end time prophecies of God's Kingdom.

Heaven cannot be discussed without the Kingdom of God, because there is no Kingdom without a King, and no King exists without a Kingdom.

Proverbs 14:28

[28]In a multitude of people is a king’s honor, But in the lack of people is the downfall of a prince.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. All people are created by God, but not everyone is of God. 

2. The world is filled with the souls of men, but not every soul is a citizen of God's Kingdom.

3. The Kingdom of God is not religion, and religion does not define the Kingdom of God. 

4. The Kingdom of God is the essence and dignity of life.
