 HEAVEN & THE KINGDOM OF GOD [Pt 5]

In an era where nothing existed, God was there, overlooking the vacuum underneath Him. This makes Him an ancient of days, who dwells in a position that is higher than the highest, and His presence which stretches farther than the farthest, not being constrained by any physical limitations.

Jeremiah 23:24

[24]Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.

The beginning of creation heralds the making of a Kingdom, where the Almighty God creates everything in the Kingdom, and establishes it in Glory, that He may reign and rule from His position, by replicating His nature and order, that all things created would align and remain in their positions, thus carrying out the purpose for which they were created.

In order to accomplish this, He created the heaven first, where His throne is established as a symbol of authority and power. He doesn't live in heaven, because He is bigger than heaven, but it is filled by His presence. This was why the Lord spoke in the book of Isaiah, by saying; "Heaven is my throne, and the earth my footstool.

Isaiah 66:1

[1]Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

God Himself was speaking and He described where His throne is with a singular noun [ Heaven not Heavens]

The revelation of Moses establishes the order of creation as the heavens being the first, in the first verse of Genesis, which encompasses the totality of the heavens and its hosts.

Genesis 1:1

[1]In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Furthermore, the books of Genesis goes further to give more clarity on the creation of the first heaven, which is visible to the human eyes and senses. However, there was silence on how the third heaven or the intermediate (second heaven) was created, but God has given privileges to people in time past and in the present to have a view of it, which establishes the reality of these locations.

Genesis 1:6-9

[6]Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

[7]Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.

[8]And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.

[9]Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.

Moreover, the administration of God's Kingdom would see Him ruling from the third heaven where His Throne lies, and unto the earth. However, for this to be possible, there would have to be a governor on the earth, who would rely on God's authority, and express His power over everything that was created on the earth. This was what necessitated the creation of the first man, called Adam. 

Genesis 1:27-30

[27]So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

[28]Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

[29]And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

[30]Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

The Hebrew name for Adam is man or mankind, and he was the prototype for all humanity. He was not a Christian, Muslim , Buddhist, traditionalist or any religion you can think about, or even a prophet. His name was mentioned in the Torah which was a document recorded by Prophet Moses, as the man who God showed His back (History or past). 

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. God is bigger than the Heavens and the earth, and everything that was created.

2. God does not live in the third Heaven, but His throne and His presence is ever manifest. He existed before the Heavens where created.

3. The History of Creation is about the Kingdom of God and not religion.

4. Adam was the first man, and he had no knowledge of any religion, neither was he a leader of any.
