Lesson 3: RUN TO THE BATTLE
BOOK REVIEW
Book Title: RUN TO THE BATTLE
Author: Roberts Liardon
Pages: 136
LESSON 3:
1. A person with a weak inner man will not be able to take authority over his soul or body, hence when anointing lifts and temptation comes, such a person falls as Samson did. The power to overcome temptation is not found in the anointing, but in the development of the human spirit.
2. You need to feed your spirit with a daily diet of the Word to grow and bear fruit. Consistent sowing of the Word into your inner man will make your spirit stronger.
3. Your inner man gets stronger as you surrender all to God, and allow Him to prune away the things that sap your strength. Jesus Christ is the vine, and the more you surrender to Him, the more of His strength flows in you.
4. Surround yourself with Godly men and women who are submitted to God. If you spend time with weak and carnal christians, you may find yourself getting weaker.
5. As you surrender to God in spirit, soul and body, your inner man will be strengthened with might, so you can easily say, No, when temptation comes.
