PRAYER FOR NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION [Pt 1]

2 Chronicles 7:14

[14]if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

God desires that Nations be transformed, because His thoughts for us are good and not evil. Moreover, the power to drive home the thoughts of God are given to men who align with His position. While God stands as an Authority over all Nations, the citizens of that Nations are God's agent of change.

National transformation begins first with the humility of personal assessment by the people to determine whether they are standing with God and His laws, or if they are in defiance. 

Judges 10:10

[10]And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, saying, “We have sinned against You, because we have both forsaken our God and served the Baals!”

When a Nation deviates from both natural and spiritual laws ordained for it's establishment by God, the consequences of defiance become a living environment for the people.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. God desires all Nations to prosper.

2. Humans are God's agent of change.

3. God will do for a Nation, what He has designed them to do.

PRAYERS:

1. Lord rid my Nation from every form of pride committed against You, through our conduct, in Jesus name, amen 🙏.

2. Lord help my Nation to examine herself, if she is still standing with you and doing Your will, in Jesus name, amen 🙏.

3. Lord touch our hearts and make us agents of change in Your hands, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Carry out a personal re- evaluation of yourself today, to ensure that you are standing in faith and doing the will of God. 

2. Make a commitment to become an agent of positive change in your environment.

3. Enthrone light and dethrone darkness in your environment.
