THE BELIEVER'S RIGHTEOUSNESS IN GOD [Pt 6] - Awe Hilary

THE BELIEVER'S RIGHTEOUSNESS IN GOD [Pt 6]

- Awe Hilary

As this series begins to come into it's concluding parts, it is important to reveal the following;

1. A man becomes righteous when he accepts the call of God, to meet with God. This is a change of position, which is from the position of the nature of sin, to the position of God, which is a state of righteousness.

2. That the man who has been called and encountered God, begins to function from the position of his calling. This infers that his current position in God, begins to influence his actions. This is not a depiction of morality, but an expression of God's Spirit in carrying out purposeful actions.

Unfortunately, many preachers in our present time, stop at point 1, which makes the message incomplete. This however, brings us to two important points as cited in the part 1 of this series, which are;

2. To Will > God's Will in man's will.

3. To Act > God's action in man's act.

Ephesians 5:17

[17]Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

The essence of a believer who has accepted the call of God, and standing with the Lord, is to understand the will of God. The purpose of salvation is not just to make Heaven, but to perform the will of the Father, because you were saved for a purpose.

Ephesians 2:10

[10]For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. God has an assignment for you, and you were saved to fulfill it in Him.

2. Salvation is bringing men and women to God, that they may discover their assignment in the Kingdom of God.

3. The saved man or woman, is one whose focus is on completing the Lord's work, according to His will. Their exposure deletes the mindset of condemnation and re- enforces the zeal for the Lord's work.

...TO BE CONTINUED.
