LESSON 2:

1. The first man disobeyed God by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, hence he rejected the word of God that was presented by the Word. A separated Adam from the Word is a separated Adam from God, for God interacted with the first Adam through the Word, who is Jesus Christ.

2. The Holy Spirit was not resident in the first Adam, but he was enveloped in His presence via the Word, who is Jesus Christ.

3. The authority and dominion of the first Adam was resident in the Word, through obedience to God's word. Dominion is premised on obedience.

4. Satan defeated the first Adam through the introduction of half truths. A rebellious Satan could not remain submissive in the earth to the first Adam. The temptation of the first Adam was a war of dominion.

5. When sin came into the world, a new nature emerged. Sin is a nature whose image and likeness are patterned outside of God.

"The imputation of sin did not come by works, but by an inherent nature which was in the first Adam, through whom mankind derived it roots".
