PRAYER FOR NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION [Pt 2]

1 John 5:14-15

[14]Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

[15]And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

In the previous part of this article, it was stated that National transformation begins with a personal assessment and re-evaluation of the citizens who live in the land. This comes from a position of humility which aims to re-align the people according to the will of God. In furtherance to the above, it is important to note that God has a will for every Nation and it is the responsibility of her citizens to search out the will of God. 

Acts 17:26-28

[26]And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

[27]so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

[28]for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

The will of God for a Nation are His pre-ordained plans and practices which have been tested by Him and handed over to the people, in order for them to manifest the integrity of God. 

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. Nations fail because they violate the integrity of God, which is for their benefit. This is not a religious postulation, but Laws which form the foundational blocks of the Nation, aimed at protecting God's integrity and confining her citizens to their pre-destined purpose.

2. When Nation's decide to go their own way which is outside of God's way, they reap the consequences of their actions and not the benefit of God's ordination.

3. The Laws of God bears witness to or against a Nation, hence Nations prosper when they are in alignment with the Laws of God, and on the other hand, becomes victims of judgement because of their violations.

PRAYERS:

1. In any way my Nation has violated Your integrity, Lord have mercy on us in Jesus name, amen 🙏.

2. Lord lead my Nation in Your way, and let us reap the benefits of your ordination, in Jesus name, amen 🙏.

3. Lord give my Nation the understanding to apply your laws effectively to our benefit, and to amend all violations of Your Law in Jesus name, amen 🙏.
