THE INSIDE - OUT LIFE

Those who lived in the Era of the Law, lived OUTSIDE - IN.

Believers in Jesus Christ should live INSIDE - OUT.

If you can't live inside - out, you cannot manifest the fruits of the Spirit.

Last Sunday, when I taught the foundation class in church, I asked them a critical question;

"Can you take your father to the house of your boyfriend, and ask him to seat down in the house, while you go and fornicate or commit adultery as the case might be?"

The answer was a resounding NO.

Why?

They were conscious of the presence of their father, hence they do not dare try such. They did not answer in the negative because fornication or adultery is a sin or not, they were consciousness of the presence of their father.

This is also how a believer should live his or her life. The believer in Christ is a Tabernacle of God, which means that God lives inside the believer through the Holy Spirit, which is on the foundation of Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

[19]Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

[20]For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

This infers that the believer in Christ is never alone, wherever he or she goes, God is there. The awareness of this truth is what propels the believer to live righteously, not because of sin, but he or she is conscious of the identity of his or Father who is always with him or her.

The consciousness of a believers identity in God, is what produces righteousness and not a consciousness of sin.

An old time prophet spoke as such;

1 Kings 18:15

[15]Then Elijah said, “As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely present myself to him today.”

The day you come to terms with who you are in God through Christ, that is the day you will become free.
