PRAYER FOR NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION Pt 3

It is very typical to see people pray in their numbers at various religious settings, but one question comes to mind through observation; which is to what extent does prayer transform the one who prays?

One of the foundational blocks of prayer, is that it transforms the one who prays, with the intent of facilitating a personal revival that leads to a positive change in localities and the nation at large.

Psalms 145:18

[18]The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

The one who truly prays is continually faced with the truth of God, and this becomes the position that births national transformation, because our communications with God in prayers should align us in the path of God in fulfilment of His will.

Philippians 4:6-7

[6]Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

[7]and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Meditate on These Things

Unfortunately, many who claim to pray remain untransformed because their idea of prayer is an observance of a mere religious obligation which aims at satisfying the applause of men, and not communing with God.

Matthew 6:5

[5]“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. In prayer, you are the first point of contact before your Nation. A nation that is transformed is one whose citizens have transformed or being transformed.

2. If you are not being transformed by your prayers, you are not praying at all.

3. When reprobate minds pray for a Nation without a commitment to yield to the transformative power of their prayers, it becomes an action in futility.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Evaluate your personal life as against your prayer life to observe if you are truly praying.

2. Pen down the truths you encounter and receive from God during prayer communication, and ensure speedy implementation.

REMEMBER:

John 6:43-44

[43]Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves.

[44]No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

PRAYERS:

1. Lord transform me, so I can change my Nation, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏.

2. I pull down every strong hold in my heart; Lord give me the heart of flesh, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏.

3. Lord fill my heart with your truth and your light, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏.
