*TEXT: 1 Corinthians 15:47-49

*THE MESSAGE*

The creation of man was not built on a religious ideology, but a civilization that will reveal the government of God on the earth. This government stands on two pedestals - The image and likeness of the Almighty God. 

Genesis 1:26

[26]Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

The image of God is the identity of this civilization which lays attribution to the Kingdom of God, and God as the Supreme leader of the Kingdom. Take for instance, if you come across the Nigerian flag or the American flag, you will definitely know that it belongs to a country, and you can as well know who the president is. So it is with the Kingdom of God; the identity of this Kingdom and its people is the image of God .

The first Adam was created as a model to push forth this civilization, that through him the earth will be populated with men and women who bear the image of God in representation of the Kingdom of God. However, sin and death came into the world through the disobedience of the first Adam.

Romans 5:19

[19]For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

This civilization was at variance with God because it has lost its identity in Him, hence He opted to correct it by sending another Adam who will herald the new Civilization that will restore mankind to it's original position.

1 Corinthians 15:45

[45]And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

The prophecy of the second Adam by Prophet Isaiah, mentioned that the government of God will be on His shoulders, as the reference point of the new Civilization.

Isaiah 9:6

[6]For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The second Adam is Jesus Christ.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. God's intention for creating mankind is to have a civilization whose identity and likeness are patterned after God and His Kingdom.

2. Jesus Christ is the source of the new Civilization in God, and you cannot be part of that civilization outside Jesus Christ.

3. The government of God is upon Jesus Christ, as the highest authority, hence every knee should bow in heaven and on the earth.

PRAYERS:

1. Father, I don't want to be outside Your civilization, I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus name, amen 🙏.

2. Lord enlighten my understanding in you, in Jesus name, amen 🙏.

3. I yield to the government of God, and I reject anything that does not comform to the image and likeness of God, in Jesus name, amen 🙏.
