*MEMORY VERSE:* John 10:30

*THE MESSAGE*

I am the way, the truth and the life, hence no man comes to the Father except through me, declares Jesus Christ [John 14:6]. The implication of this statement is that, the Father is in Christ and Christ is in the Father, hence you cannot talk about God or having access to Him outside of Jesus Christ.

John 10:30

[30]I and My Father are one.

This is because Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

Colossians 1:15

[15]He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Philip a disciple of Jesus Christ, asked Him to show them who the Father is, and Jesus responded by saying; have you been with me so long that you do know know me?

John 14:8-9

[8]Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

[9]Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of Christ, hence it is referred to as the Kingdom of His dear Son.

Colossians 1:13

[13]He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

This makes it unrealistic for anyone to talk about God and His Kingdom outside Jesus Christ, because He is the Kingdom of God.

Luke 17:20-21

[20]Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

[21]nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. The Kingdom of God is Christ's.

2. The Father is in Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is in the Father. Most religions have attempted and continue to attempt to separate the Father from the Son, and the Son from the Father. They are inseparable.

3. Any view of God outside Jesus Christ is another god, because Christ is the image of the invisible God. 

4. If you are in Christ, you are in God, and if you are in God, you are in Christ.
